Workplace Violence

Workplace violence is any physical assault, threatening behavior, or verbal abuse occurring in the work setting. A workplace may be any location either permanent or temporary where an employee performs any work-related duty.

An incident is foreseeable if something similar has happened before.

In the event of a foreseeable, potential or reported incident

• Tell your supervisor or someone of authority within your company

In the event of an incident in progress

• Call 911
• Notify the Acme Management Office
