Smoking Policy

Acme is a non-smoking building and smoking is only allowed in the designated areas. The common areas of the building (halls, lobbies, vending areas, breakrooms and restrooms) are designated as non-smoking areas. The designated smoking area is Level P1 of the parking garage. Your cooperation in utilizing this area for smoking breaks is appreciated.

Health problems associated with passive smoke require that Acme Management discourage smoking anywhere within the building. Heating ventilation and air-conditioning systems in all buildings have a shared air return. The system mixes fresh air with conditioned air and sends it back into tenant space. Although the smoke is somewhat diluted, it can be detected in all areas receiving conditioned air.

Use of any electronic cigarette, electronic vaping device, personal vaporizer (PV), digital vapor device or electronic nicotine delivery system (ENDS) is prohibited in the building or around the entries to the building. Users of these devices should be directed to the designated smoking area.
